Lyrical Competition Teams blend the expressive heart of lyrical dance with a structured training pathway geared toward performance and competitions. This programme is designed for dancers ready to deepen technique, teamwork and artistic maturity in a supportive, positive environment.
Our Competition Team is not another weekly class — it’s a progressive performance pathway for dancers who enjoy lyrical dance and want to explore it more seriously through rehearsals and competitive events.
Like our regular lyrical classes, it emphasises clean technique, musicality and emotional expression. In the competition context, we add goal-oriented training, choreography creation and performance preparation, all delivered with Stardust’s caring, inclusive approach.

We focus on building strong foundations while gradually developing performance skills.
Sustained work on posture, alignment and control with choreography that challenges dancers in age-appropriate ways.
Deeper connection to music, dynamics and storytelling in performance.
Working together toward shared goals builds resilience, communication and performance confidence.

Each competition rehearsal follows a clear, familiar structure so dancers feel confident, focused and ready to work together.
Sessions are longer and more focused than recreational classes, but always supportive and age-appropriate — building technique, artistry and performance skills step by step.
Dancers leave each rehearsal knowing what they’re improving and feeling supported as part of a team - progress you can see and feel over time.

Some dancers will be invited directly by their teacher; others may attend a relaxed assessment class so we can make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
