Competition Training

A supportive step into competitive dance

A path for passionate,
committed dancers

Lyrical Competition Teams blend the expressive heart of lyrical dance with a structured training pathway geared toward performance and competitions. This programme is designed for dancers ready to deepen technique, teamwork and artistic maturity in a supportive, positive environment.

What is our Competition Team?

Our Competition Team is not another weekly class — it’s a progressive performance pathway for dancers who already participate in weekly lyrical or classical ballet classes and want to take their dancing to the next level.

In addition to their regular classes our team trains an extra 2 hours per week on Fridays 5:15pm-7:15pm. Our dedicated training sessions give our dancers the chance to deepen their strength, skills, flexability and technique while still allowing time to learn and rehearse challenging choreoganhy ready for upcoming competitions and performances.

Students who sucsesfully gain a place on our team will have the opportunity to compete in dance competitions around Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. Our team is also given extra performance opportunities including performing in our annual shows and at local events with their teammates creating fantastic memories and strong friendships.
