Unicorn & Fairy Ballet Beginner Family & Kids Dance Class — Dance along & learn routines t

hi boys and girls it's miss hannah from stardust thank you for joining me for another ballet class today now in today's ballet class we're going to be dancing like unicorns and fairies so i hope some of you are dressed up at home with unicorn headbands or fairy wings on to make our class extra fun so when you're ready find yourself a big space and we'll start with

a warm up so we're going to warm up with some unicorn galax so you can either pretend you've got hoofs like a unicorn or you can have your hands on your waist or hold your beautiful ballet dresses or skirts we're gonna do two slow gaps slow slow good job then can you do three quick ones ready oh one two three good and again we go slow slow

and quick quick quick lovely and stretch those feet then we're going to try some unicorn gallops side to side so can you do one to the side like you're leaping over our little rainbow beautiful on the other side wonderful let's try that with some music ready slow slow and quick quick quick good job slow slow and quick quick ready up good job other way lovely lift up

those knees oh beautiful unicorns let's try again slow slow and quick good slow slow and over the rainbow [Music] good job other way beautiful lovely one more good job so this dance is all about the tooth fairy and it's super fun but it's quite fast so let's have a practice together before we dance it with the music pop your feet in parallel position toes together lovely and

we're going to tap our knees twice one two and then clap your hands clap and then two little wings bounce your knees and again knees and clap and wings good job again knees and clap and wings beautiful then we're going to do a lovely big portable open those arms and then the song says the tooth fairy wears a necklace so can you cross like you've got a

beautiful necklace lovely good job everyone and you can follow along with me for the rest of the tooth fairy dance pop your feet into parallel position here we go um [Music] [Applause] okay [Music] are you ready i think that's a lovely [Music] think of her [Music] show me oh great job everyone now for the next dance we're going to practice our beautiful plies so can you all

stand in first position like me you can either hold your dress or hands on your waist and we're going to make diamond windows beautiful that's it a diamond window so a little fairy could come and fly through your knees good job that's it wonderful and then the music says my little foot taps so we're going to stretch our foot and we're going to do some fairy taps

tap tap tap and you have to be really quiet very good and then it says with our hands we clap clap clap beautiful then we're going to point our right foot and we're going to wave our lovely fairy wings and in and then your left foot and in and then turn around on your toes finishing back in first position good job ballerinas let's have a try with

the music ready [Music] ready [Music] wow good job show me your plies bend and stretch [Music] beautiful let's try that again standing tall bend and stretch let's see if we can remember it ready but tap with your hands clap right [Music] let's do it one more time ready bend and stretch beautiful [Music] can you turn the other way beautiful well done everyone so the next song is

a very special one because it's all about unicorns and fairies so we're gonna have some lovely floaty fairy wings and we're also gonna make a pointy unicorn horn in this dance so pop your feet in first position heads up nice and tall and follow along with me let's fill up our fairy wings beautiful and a big sunshine [Music] and can you paint a rainbow [Music] gorgeous sunshine

and a rainbow lovely and [Music] [Music] look at your fairy wings [Music] and just [Music] can you make your unicorn horn [Music] everyone ready to decide [Music] sunshine paint a rainbow beautiful [Music] let's have your fairy wings up on your toes can you fly around your room oh that's it flap your wings up on your tiptoes you can fly all around your house beautiful and back to

first position we're going to bed beautiful [Music] ready [Music] beautiful everyone so next we're going to practice our fairy walks and runs so we need to be really quiet on our tiptoes for this one so either hands on your waist or hold those gorgeous dresses and we're gonna go up on our toes for a little walk around your room lovely and then to run like a fairy

we're gonna run up on our tiptoes teeny tiny steps really quietly are you ready feet together [Music] little steps around beautiful fairy ballerina steps good job everyone teeny tiny steps on your toes lovely hold those dresses beautiful [Music] are you ready to try some fairy runs really fast but teeny tiny whoa very good can you run the other way up on those tiptoes wow and back to

first position fairy wings up and down and up and both together beautiful lovely fairy walks beautiful and fairy ones fast as you can wow and fairy wings and both together lovely and can you fly in a little fur beautiful okay so for our next dance we're gonna do some galloping and i wonder if you've got a little friend you can gather with so i'm going to use

my little fairy toy as my partner today maybe you've got a brother or sister that you can gallop with or maybe your grown-up wants to join you if not you can just find your favorite toy like me good job we're gonna hold on to our toy or hold hands with your partner and we're gonna rock side to side lovely don't forget to point your toes and then

we're gonna do some little gallops to the side beautiful and then twirl on your toes one way and twirl the other way perfect so pop your feet in first position and follow along with me [Music] okay [Music] is [Music] lovely lift those knees up nice and high and can you go all the way around [Music] good job and now we're going to bend bounce your knees and

let's do some jumps can you jump good and spin and point show me those gallops good and again rock rock and [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] lovely everyone so next i'm going to teach you one of my favorite dances which is fairy ballet and it's all about fairies that love doing ballet so we're gonna do some fairy taps in this dance so we do a little gallop

to the side and then you're gonna tap your toe now you have to be really quiet for fairy tales and we're gonna change tap tap tap can you have a try see if you can do it really quietly well done and then a lovely big sunshine and then up on your toes and twirl round beautiful and paint me a rainbow gorgeous then we do it the other

side a little gallop to the side and fairy taps that's it tap your toe good job arms up and twirl on your toes beautiful so standing in first position lovely hold your skirt or hands on your waist and follow along with me [Music] dancing [Music] here we go [Music] lovely show me your wings we're gonna go skipping next are you ready hold your skirts knees up piping

skipping in a circle twist and skip the other way up again pretty big first position we're gonna curve when [Music] beautiful are you ready for our gala um [Music] dancing [Music] the fairy way to death what beautiful dancing everyone very well done okay it's time to do a beautiful stretch next so pop your feet in first position and we're to stretch really tall and really wide before

we do our curtsys and bows to finish now can we stretch really tall reach for the ceiling and can you stretch really wide stretch those fingers wonderful and can you give yourself a big cuddle boys and girls it is good job now let's do ourselves feet beautiful so we can choose to finish with a curtsy or a bow step to the side curtsy or bow beautiful [Music]

in our fairy tale ballet zoom classes one of my little ballerinas was very excited because today is her birthday so evie i want to wish you a very happy fifth birthday i hope you have loads of fun celebrating at home today our big thank you to everybody for joining in my class today have a wonderful week and i hope to dance with you again soon bye everyone
