Children's Dance Classes Near Northstowe: Longstanton, Willingham, Oakington & Beyond

One of the questions we hear most from new families is simply: "Are you near us?" If you're in Northstowe or one of the surrounding villages, the answer is almost always yes. Here's a quick guide to where we teach and who we're closest to.

Three local venues, all with free parking

We run classes across three venues so there's usually one a short hop from home — and every one of them has free parking, which any parent juggling a car seat and a dance bag will appreciate:

• Northstowe Secondary College — our modern studio base, with after-school, evening and Saturday classes.
• Northstowe Unity Centre — a welcoming community venue, with morning classes for pre-schoolers and their carers plus after-school sessions.
• Arbury Community Centre, Cambridge — friendly after-school and evening classes, with good bus links for families in the city.

Wherever you join, it's the same DBS-checked teachers and the same warm, inclusive classes.

Which villages are we close to?

Families travel to us from right across the area. If you're in any of these, you're within an easy drive of at least one venue:

• Longstanton and Oakington — minutes from our Northstowe venues
• Willingham, Over and Swavesey — a short drive to Northstowe
• Cottenham, Rampton and Lolworth — close to Northstowe
• Histon & Impington and Bar Hill — handy for either Northstowe or our Cambridge venue
• Arbury and north Cambridge — on the doorstep of our Arbury venue

We teach ages 18 months to 16+, across a full range of styles, so siblings of different ages can often dance at the same venue on the same day:

• Fairytale Ballet® for early years
• Ballet & Jazz (ISTD-aligned)
• Acro Gymnastics (Acrobatic Arts certified)
• Street Dance, Tap, Lyrical and Musical Theatre
• Competition Team Training for dedicated dancers, and Adult classes too

Beyond the dancing, community is at the heart of what we do — from local school shows and fetes to festivals and performance opportunities across the year. We also run a hardship fund, supported by Cambridge City Council's Active Lifestyles team and our own fundraising, to help families who are finding fees a stretch. Everyone should get the chance to dance.
